COMMERCIAL WORK
A well-designed commercial space does more than look good. It shapes how customers feel the moment they walk through your door, how employees move through their day, and how a brand comes to life in three dimensions. We partner closely with architects, contractors, and trade professionals to bring that vision to life - on time, on budget, and built to last. Whether you're opening a new location, refreshing an existing space, or reimagining how your business feels from the inside out, our team brings the same rigor and creativity we're known for in every residential project - scaled for the demands of commercial work.
A MODERN MOUNTAIN RETREAT

LACONIA, NH
Tucked into the Lakes Region, this bed and breakfast called for a design that felt as at home in the mountains as it did with a modern, design-forward guest. We reimagined the interiors with a mountain modern point of view — natural materials, clean lines, and a warm, layered palette that nods to its New Hampshire setting without leaning into rustic cliché. From guest rooms to shared gathering spaces, every detail was considered to give visitors a retreat that feels curated, comfortable, and distinctly Moore Design ltd.
KENDAL SQUARE FINE DINING

CAMEBRIDGE, MA
Set in the heart of Kendall Square's life sciences district, this project called for a space that felt as intellectually curious as its surroundings - part café, part gathering place for the neighbourhood's scientists, artists, and academics. Our approach balanced clean, laboratory-inspired lines with warmth and texture, creating a space that invites lingering over coffee or gathering for late-night conversation alike. Every detail was considered to reflect the spirit of a neighborhood built on curiosity and invention.

HARVARD SQUARE HOTEL

CAMEBRIDGE, MA
Set in the heart of Harvard Square, this hotel called for interiors that felt equal parts residential and refined with a European sensibility - a place guests could settle into rather than simply pass through. We layered warm materials, considered lighting, and custom furnishings throughout the lounge and guest rooms to create a sense of arrival, whether for a weekend stay or a longer visit to Cambridge.
PORTUGUESE SMALL PLATES

NEWBURYPORT, MA
Housed in the heart of Newburyport, CEIA was designed as a warm, elevated dining destination for the coastal town — a space that balanced New England character with a more refined, contemporary point of view. From layout to finish selections, every detail was considered to create an atmosphere as memorable as the meal itself. Though CEIA has since closed, the project remains one of our favorite explorations of hospitality design done right.

THE FACTORY OFFICE

SOMERVILLE, MA
Set inside a former factory building, this project called for a design that honored the bones of the space — exposed brick, soaring ceilings, and industrial character — while creating a modern, functional office for a growing team. We balanced raw architectural texture with warm materials and considered lighting, transforming an old industrial shell into a workspace that feels both grounded in its history and built for how people actually work today.
